Champions Trophy schedule released latest update ICC stuck in fight between BCCI and PCB India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy 2025: When will the Champions Trophy schedule come? ICC is getting crushed in the fight between BCCI and PCB, big update comes

Champions Trophy 2025: The tussle continues between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding the Champions Trophy. This troubled the International Cricket Council (ICC). He has not been able to release the schedule of Champions Trophy yet. Meanwhile, the statement of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has made the matter more complicated. He wants to host the tournament in his own country under any circumstances.

When will the Champions Trophy schedule be released?

A big update has come out regarding the Champions Trophy. It has been said in many reports that ICC will release the schedule this week in any case. The schedule was to be released earlier this month, but it was delayed after the BCCI refused to send the Indian cricket team to Pakistan citing security issues. BCCI wants the tournament to be played in hybrid model, but PCB has refused. Now ICC has to take decision on this issue.

What did Mohsin Naqvi say?

If the tournament is moved out of Pakistan or played in a hybrid model, then Pakistan may withdraw from it. In such a situation, not only Pakistan cricket but also ICC will suffer a loss of crores of rupees. On Monday, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that the Champions Trophy will be played in Pakistan. He requested the ICC to maintain its credibility and said that if BCCI has any concerns then it can resolve it with the PCB.

These three paths before ICC

1. ICC will have to take some tough decisions and it will not be easy for them. They can either ask India to play in Pakistan or throw them out. In place of Team India, any other high ranked team which was not successful in qualifying can be included. However, this does not seem to be happening. If ICC organizes any tournament without the Indian team, it will not only suffer financial losses, but the tournament will also not be exciting. Even the broadcaster will not agree to this.

2. There is also a way for ICC to approve the hybrid model. In such a situation, Pakistan will definitely have the hosting rights, but Team India can play its matches in some other country.

3. The third option would be that ICC can shift the entire tournament out of Pakistan.
