Pakistan Cricket Board has claimed that the Indian team will get tight security in Pakistan. However, before the Champions Trophy 2025, Pakistan had to cancel one of its domestic tournaments. Actually, a massive fire broke out in the hotel where the players were staying for the tournament. There is news that some players also got caught in the fire. According to a report by PCB, Pakistan Cricket Board has canceled its domestic women's tournament National Women's Championship 2024-25 midway. This tournament was being held at the National Stadium in Karachi. The tournament was being played between 5 teams. The board had booked an entire floor of a hotel for all the players, support staff and officials of the 5 teams. A fire broke out on this floor. It was fortunate that when the fire broke out, there were only 5 players in the hotel and they were immediately rescued. Other players were practicing at the Karachi Stadium when the fire broke out.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, many players have come under the influence of fire. After this incident, PCB has canceled the tournament itself. Now the Board is not getting 100 rooms in Karachi, hence the Board took strict action. After this incident, the Champions Trophy has also come under question.
