State level cricket under-14 boys competition concluded in Saharsa on Saturday. In the final match of this 6-day competition, cricket was played between Nawada vs Jamui. In this, Nawada won the title of winner by 39 runs. Jamui was the runner up. District Magistrate
Actually, the state level cricket under-14 boys competition was started on 10th November. Different teams from 38 districts of the state had come to participate in it. A field match was played between Nawada and Jamui on Saturday. In this match of 16-16 overs, Nawada scored 111 runs after losing 8 wickets. Whereas Jamui's team could score only 72 runs in 16 overs.
In this, Anurag of Nawada got the man of the match. Whereas the title of best fielder in the competition went to Amit Yadav of Saharsa. District Officer Vaibhav Chaudhary honored all the winners, runners-up, man of the match and umpires by giving them citations. After this, DM and SP jointly presented shields to the winning and runner-up teams.
