Shubman bats at number three for Team India. If he is not fit before the Perth Test, then Abhimanyu Easwaran may get a chance to debut. He is currently in Australia and is part of the India A team. Abhimanyu has a good record in domestic cricket. But have not been able to play for Team India yet. He has scored 7674 runs in 101 first class matches. He has scored 3847 runs in List A.
Devdutt Padikkal will also be under watch –
If media reports are to be believed, Team India can stop Devdutt Padikkal in Australia only. He is not part of the main team. But playing for India A. Devdutt looked in rhythm during practice.
