After getting the recognition of Ranji, this is the first time in the history of Chhattisgarh when any batsman has scored a double century in this category. 13 year old batsman Master Blaster Manan performed brilliantly and played an unbeaten inning of 201 runs. This match is being played between Raipur Blue and Plate Combined team at Dhamtari Stadium.

After winning the toss, Plate Combined team elected to bat and declared its innings after scoring 426 runs for 4 wickets in 90 overs.
