Cricket Club Dehradun reached the semi-finals with a win

In the fourth Kishori Lal Tangri Memorial Cricket Tournament organized by KLCA, the fifth match of Pool-B was played between Maharana Pratap Cricket Club Dehradun and KLCA. Maharana Pratap Cricket Club Dehradun has secured its place in the semi-finals with a spectacular victory.

Maharana Pratap Cricket Club Dehradun won the toss and decided to bat first in the tournament going on at Jamalpur grounds on Friday. The team scored 269 runs losing 8 wickets in the stipulated 40 overs. Shobhit Sarin scored 90 runs, Garvit Bisht scored 53 runs. From KLCA side, Dev Malik, Shubham Parswan and Krishna Singh took 2-2 wickets, Shahenshah Alam and Lavleet Tangri took 1-1 wicket. Chasing the target, KLCA team was out after scoring 153 runs in 28 overs. Maharana Pratap Cricket Club won the match by 116 runs.

On behalf of the team, Janmejay Joshi took 5 wickets, Vishal Joshi took 3 wickets and Tushar Sethi took 1 wicket. The match was umpired by Swatantra Kumar and Aditya Tomar. Gurukul Kangri University coach Dushyant Rana declared Janmejay Joshi the Man of the Match for his excellent bowling, Nilotpal Kumar the Fighter of the Match and Shobhit Sarin the Impressive Player of the Match for his excellent batting.
