Champions Trophy is to be organized in Pakistan next year. However, questions remain regarding whether the Indian team will tour Pakistan or not. According to media reports, BCCI has informed ICC about not touring Pakistan after not getting permission from the Indian Government. ICC informed the Pakistan Cricket Board about this, after which the Pakistani Board has sought India's written stand from the ICC. Now there is news that the International Cricket Council has sought a written answer from India as to why it will not tour Pakistan.

According to Pakistan's Geo News report, the International Cricket Council has officially sought a written explanation from the Board of Control for Cricket in India on its decision to refuse to tour Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025. According to the report, BCCI had verbally informed the ICC about its decision not to travel to Pakistan for the mega-event, after which the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sought India's written response in this regard from the ICC. Was. According to the report, according to the rules, the Indian board will have to provide solid grounds for not playing the tournament in the country.

Let us tell you, due to tension between the two countries, no bilateral series has been played between India and Pakistan since 2012. This time, Pakistan had made a lot of preparations for the Champions Trophy and has upgraded the stadiums in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. In such a situation, Pakistan is not ready for the hybrid model.

The Indian board is ready to play in the Champions Trophy, but Team India wants to play its matches in Dubai and if India reaches the final, then in such a situation the final will also be played in Dubai. However, Pakistan is not ready for this. Due to this, the schedule for the Champions Trophy has not been announced yet.

According to sources, since the ICC earns from broadcast rights, advertisements and sponsorship of the trophy, India's non-participation could cause a financial blow of $500 million, while the Indian board is estimated to lose $100 million in revenue. .
