New Zealand Cricketer Tim Southee Big blow to New Zealand…

New Zealand Cricketer Tim Southee : New Zealand's legendary fast bowler Tim Southee has announced his retirement from Test cricket. This bowler, who has taken the most wickets for the Kiwi team, will play the last match of his Test career against England at his home ground at Seddon Park in Hamilton in December this year.

Saudi has 770 wickets to his name and has confirmed that the upcoming three-match Test series will be his last series. However, he will be available for New Zealand if they qualify for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final next June.

“Representing New Zealand was all I dreamed of as a child,” Saudi said in a statement. Playing for the Blackcaps for 18 years has been my greatest honor and privilege, but now the time has come to step away from the game that has given me so much.

He said that Test cricket holds a special place in my heart and to be able to play such a big series against the same opponent against whom my Test career started so many years ago is very special. Apart from this, it is incredibly special for me to bid farewell to my Test career by playing on these three grounds. This feels like the perfect way to end my tenure in New Zealand.

He said, 'It has been an amazing journey and I wouldn't want to change anything about it. I really enjoy working with these exciting young bowlers and watching them perform at the highest level. Now it is their turn to take this team forward and they know that I will always be there to support them, whether near or far.

After the England series, Southee will decide after Christmas whether he will play the final limited overs series for New Zealand against Sri Lanka.

In Saudi's illustrious 18-year international career, he has made many national and international records in 391 international matches. His superb all-rounder skills and consistency have made him the only player in the world to take more than 300 Test wickets, 200 ODI wickets and 100 T20 wickets.

He took 385 international wickets in Test cricket. He has taken 385 international wickets in white-ball cricket, including 164 T20 wickets, the most in world cricket. Additionally, he is one of only four players in the world to have played more than 100 international matches across all three formats.
