Wasim Akram on Best All Rounder in The World: Former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram has named 4 all-rounders of world cricket whom he considers as his all-time favourites. Wasim, while commenting recently during the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia, named the names of 4 great all-rounders whom he considers to be the greatest of all time. The former Pakistani legend has described England's Ian Botham, New Zealand's Richard Hadlee, Pakistan's Imran Khan and India's Kapil Dev as the great all-rounders of world cricket.

Wasim Akram, famously known as the Sultan of Swing, said, “I have also seen that tour when every team used to include great all-rounders like Ian Botham, Richard Hadlee and Kapil Dev. You see, when I started, Imran There was Ian Botham in England and there was Kapil Dev in India. Till date there has been no cricketer like him.

Talking about England's great all-rounder Ian Botham, Botham played 102 Test matches in his career and scored 5200 runs and was also successful in taking 383 wickets in Tests. Whereas in ODI, Botham played 116 matches and scored 2113 runs and was successful in taking 145 wickets.

Richard Hadlee of New Zealand played 86 matches in his Test career and took 431 wickets. While batting, Hadlee scored 3124 runs in the test which included 2 centuries and 15 half-centuries. In ODIs, Hadlee had succeeded in taking a total of 158 wickets after playing 115 matches. In ODI, Hadlee was successful in scoring 1751 runs with the bat.

At the same time, Pakistan's great all-rounder Imran played 88 matches in Tests and scored 3807 runs which included 6 centuries and 18 half-centuries. Imran did the feat of taking 362 wickets in Tests. Whereas in ODI, Imran played 175 matches and scored 3709 runs. Imran did the feat of taking 182 wickets in ODI.

Apart from this, if we talk about India's Kapil Dev, he had taken 434 wickets in his Test career. Kapil played 131 matches in Tests and did the feat of scoring 5248 runs. Kapil Dev has left 8 centuries and 27 half-centuries in Test cricket. At the same time, in ODI, Kapil Dev played 225 matches and took a total of 253 wickets and did the feat of scoring 3783 runs with the bat. Kapil Dev has done wonders by scoring 1 century and 14 half-centuries in ODIs. In such a situation, if we look at these records, it can definitely be said that till date there has been no great all-rounder like him.
