Penn 'batted' for Jurel
Former Australian Test captain Tim Paine has supported young wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel, saying that the young player can make a good impact in the upcoming series. Jurel had scored two brilliant half-centuries while playing for India-A against Australia-A last week. Paine said, 'He is a player who has kept wickets in some Test matches for India. In the three Test matches he has played, his average is 63. I saw Jurel bat against Australia A, now it will surprise me if he does not play in the upcoming series.
McSweeney's ready for the challenge
Australia's new opener Nathan McSweeney is ready to debut in the Perth Test. He said, 'For the last one month I really feel like I am batting the best I have ever done. I have got to learn and experience a lot. I am looking forward to learning everything about the challenges of Test cricket and challenging my game against the best players. I expect to learn a lot and improve, but I definitely think this is my best performance yet and I'm ready for the challenge.
