Araria, 12 November. The first match of the 34th Bhagirathi Ganga District Cricket League (Consam Trophy) was played between MSCC Forbesganj and ACA Blue Araria at the local Araria College Stadium in which MSCC Forbesganj won by 76 runs.
MSCC Forbesganj won the toss and batted first and scored 238 runs losing 8 wickets in 30 overs. Playing for MSCC Forbesganj, Harsh Kumar contributed 86 runs, Kumar Swatvik 42 runs and Manish Kumar contributed 24 runs to their team. While bowling for ACA Blue Araria, Nishar Ahmed took 3 wickets, Vijay Kumar took 2 wickets.
Whereas ACA Blue Araria team, which came to play the counter innings, could add only 162 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 30 overs. For ACA Blue Araria, Amarjeet scored 36 runs, Sahil scored 32 runs and Nishar scored 26 runs. Bowling for ACA Blue, Manish Kumar took 4 wickets, Navneet and Abhishek took 1 wicket each. Man of the match was Manish Kumar. Anami Shankar and Tanveer Alam were in the role of umpires in the match.
On this occasion, District Cricket Association Vice President Chand Azmi, Joint Secretary Anami Shankar, Treasurer Amit Sengupta and senior members Satyendra Nath Sharan, Vivek Prakash, Sarwan and Grounds Man Rajesh etc. were present.
