Sri Lanka National Cricket Team vs New Zealand National Cricket Team 1st T20I Match Scorecard: The first match of the three-match T20 series between Sri Lanka national cricket team vs New Zealand national cricket team was played today i.e. on 9 November. This match between the two teams was played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla. In this match, Sri Lanka has defeated New Zealand by four wickets. With this, the Sri Lankan team has also taken a 1-0 lead in the series. Meanwhile, in the first T20 match, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner won the toss and decided to bat first. New Zealand's team, who came to bat first after winning the toss, had a disappointing start and two of the team's batsmen returned to the pavilion with a score of just 20 runs.
The entire New Zealand team was out after scoring just 135 runs in 19.3 overs. For New Zealand, Zachary Faulks played the highest innings of 27 unbeaten runs. During this stormy innings, Zachary Foulkes hit one four and one six in 16 balls. Apart from Zachary Foulkes, Michael Bracewell also scored 27 runs.

Dunith Welles gave the first major success to the Sri Lankan team. For Sri Lanka, Dunit Velalej took the maximum of two wickets. Apart from Dunith Velalej, Nuwan Thushara, Wanindu Hasaranga and Mathisha Pathirana took two wickets each. Sri Lankan team had to score 136 runs in 20 overs to win this match.
The Sri Lankan team, which came to chase the target, did not have a good start and the team suffered its first major setback at just three runs. Sri Lankan team achieved the target by losing six wickets in 19 overs. For Sri Lanka, captain Charith Asalanka played a brilliant inning of 35 unbeaten runs. Captain Mitchell Santner gave the first success to the New Zealand team. For New Zealand, Zachary Faulks took the maximum of three wickets. The second T20 match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand will be played tomorrow i.e. on 10th November at 7 pm at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla.
