Rahul Dravid Son Anvay Dravid Named In The Karnataka Probable List For The Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy – TEKCIRC

Wicketkeeper batsman Anvay Dravid, son of former India captain and coach Rahul Dravid, has been selected among Karnataka's probable players for the Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy starting from December 6. Anvay is one of the three wicketkeepers included in the 35 probables. The remaining two are Aditya Jha and Joey James.

Anvay, who captained the Under-14 team in the inter-province tournament last year, scored an unbeaten 200 for Bangalore Zone against Tumkur Zone in the KSCA Under-16 Inter-Zone Tournament. His elder brother Samit is currently playing for Karnataka in the Cooch Behar Trophy against Baroda in Vadodara. Former state players Kunal Kapoor and Aditya B Sagar will be the head coach and bowling coach of the team for the Vijay Merchant Trophy.
