The second match was played between Jiwaji University, Gwalior and Maharaja Chhatrasal University, in which Gwalior won the match by 7 wickets. The third match was played between Chhindwara and Jabalpur, in which Jabalpur was victorious. The fourth match was played between Barkatullah University, Bhopal and Devi Ahilya Bari University, Indore, in which Indore won by 6 runs. Mayor Sangeeta Sushil Tiwari, as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony, inspired the participating players to play the match with sporting spirit. College Public Participation Committee President Manisha Mishra met all the players and encouraged them.
Special guest Vivek Sathe inspired the girl students to make their mark at the international level. Special invited guest Dr. Nina Gideon, senior gynecologist, introduced herself to the players and wished them all the best. Leading college principal Dr. Saroj Gupta got introduced to the players of the match played between Chhindwara and Jabalpur and said that today the girl students are also not behind in any field. The semi-finals will be held on November 8 at the City Stadium from 9 am onwards. 128 players from 8 divisions are participating in the state level cricket (women) competition. On this occasion, Dr. Renubala Sharma, Dr. Padma Acharya, Dr. Sanjay Khare, Dr. Gulab Devi, Dr. Narendra Singh Thakur were present.
