The 2007 Asian team included Indian players like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar, while Pakistan was represented by Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Yousuf and Shoaib Akhtar. ACA is also considering organizing Africa Premier League on the lines of Indian Premier League.
