Indian cricket legend Rohit Sharma is very famous for making big scores on the cricket field. The Hitman holds the record for the highest score by any player in an ODI match with his innings of 264 runs against Sri Lanka in 2014.

T20 cricket is no different and Rohit Sharma has made many big scores in the shortest format of the game in the last few years. Rohit Sharma has scored a total of eight centuries in T20 cricket.

Five of these have come in T20 Internationals, making him the joint player with Australia's Glenn Maxwell to score the most T20 centuries.

This match was the final match of the three-match T20 series against Afghanistan. Having already secured the series with wins in the first two matches in Mohali and Indore, India were heading for a clean sweep after scoring 212/4 while batting first.

Captain Rohit Sharma led the attack with an unbeaten 121 runs at an average of 175.36 off 69 balls. This innings included 11 fours and eight sixes. Sharma made an unbeaten partnership of 190 runs with Rinku Singh for the fifth wicket, which is still the highest partnership for India in any T20 match.

However, India's victory was not easy as Afghanistan equalized India's score. India had to play two super overs to win.
