India was defeated by UAE by 1 run and England by 15 runs. After losing to Pakistan on 1 November, India needed to win the match against UAE to reach the quarterfinals but the Indian team lost by 1 run.
India needed 131 runs to win. Chasing 131 runs, India needed 32 runs in the last over. For India, all-rounder Stuart Binny tried his best to win the match by scoring 44 runs in 11 balls. But could not succeed in winning the match. Team India needed two runs to win on the last ball but while taking the second run, Binny was run out and lost the match by one run.
