Yashu And Ankur Selected In Under-19 Up Cricket Team - Meerut News

Meerut. Cricketers Yashu Pradhan and Ankur Sharma have been selected in the UP Under-19 team. Yashu Pradhan is constantly attracting the attention of selectors with his all-round performance.

The domestic season has started from BCCI. Ranji Trophy matches have started in the senior category. Under-23 Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy matches are also going on. Now the matches of Cooch Behar Trophy in Under-19 category are starting from 6th November. For this, the UP team has been selected by the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association. Two players from Meerut have got a chance in this. This includes all-rounder Yashu Pradhan and fast bowler Ankur Sharma, resident of Sarvadaya Colony. Uttar Pradesh's match will be with Madhya Pradesh in Bareilly on 6 November.

Yashu Pradhan is training at Victoria Park and last season too he had an all-round performance in the Cooch Behar Trophy. He scored 340 runs and took 6 wickets. Apart from this, he scored 350 runs and took 15 wickets in the Vinoo Markand Trophy last season. Last year, he was also included in the NCA camp on behalf of BCCI.
