In the final match of the ongoing cricket competition in Khushhalpur, the team of Khushhalpur defeated Mirzapur. The drama of the match continued till the last over.
30 teams from different areas participated in the competition organized by Khushalpur Cricket Committee. The final match was played on Wednesday. Batting first, Mirzapur team scored 63 runs in eight overs. While chasing the target, Khushalpur team won the match after losing three wickets. Asif Khan and Tausif Qureshi played a winning partnership. Asif Khan was awarded man of the match. Apart from this, the winning team was given a trophy and cash prize of Rs 31 thousand and the runner-up team was given a trophy and cash prize of Rs 11 thousand. Village head Sadiq Rehman asked the youth to increase interest in sports. District Panchayat member Anees Ahmed inaugurated the final match. Cricket Committee Chairman Bilal Qureshi, Enamul Haq, Sonu, Rehman, Sharafat, Rashid etc. were present on this occasion.
