The second semi-final match of the Sanjeev Chatterjee Memorial T-20 cricket competition going on in Dhaka was played on Tuesday between DBC Cricket Academy Ranchi and Jharkhand Jyoti Cricket Club Ranchi. Jharkhand Jyoti team won the toss and batted first and were all out after scoring only 101 runs with the help of Dhananjay 25, Kaushal 19, Shahban 17, Vinay 14 and Shoaib 15. Jharkhand Ranji Trophy player Kaushal Kishore was left standing at one end and the entire team was all out at the other end with four overs remaining.
Jharkhand Ranji team, which came to play the counter innings, played the bowling attack easily under the leadership of fast bowler Vikas Kumar Singh and achieved this target by losing three wickets in the 11th over. Aditya 33, Priyanshu 35 played brilliant innings for the team. The man of the match of this match was Amos Ekka of DVC, who took 5 wickets while giving only 8 runs in 3 overs in his bowling and broke the back of Jharkhand Jyoti team equipped with many star players. Rajeev Chatterjee, Mithilesh Kumar Singh and Ismail Ansari presented him the award. The winner and runner-up will be given a cash prize of Rs 31,000 and Rs 21,000 along with a trophy. Apart from this, Man of the Series, best bowler, batsman and fielder will also be honored.
Title match between Sonet Cricket Academy and DVC today: The title match of the 2nd Sanjeev Chatterjee Memorial Cricket Competition will be played tomorrow on Wednesday between Sonet Cricket Academy Ranchi and DVC Cricket Academy Ranchi at Dakra Stadium. Chief guest of the final match will be DMS officer Aftab Alam and special guest NK Area General Manager Sujit Kumar, CCL Sports Officer Adil Hussain will be present.
