Senior Women Trophy: Tamil Nadu team defeated by seven wickets

Jammu. Jammu and Kashmir has defeated Tamil Nadu by seven wickets in the Senior Women Trophy. Tamil Nadu, playing first, scored 125 runs and set a target of 126 runs to win. Jammu and Kashmir team achieved this by losing three wickets. Also won by seven wickets. Rubia Syed made an important contribution to the team's victory by playing an unbeaten inning of 78 runs in 58 balls with the help of ten fours and two sixes.
After winning the toss, Tamil Nadu decided to bat first. Jammu and Kashmir's bowlers maintained pressure from the beginning. Tamil Nadu got its first blow on 11 runs. Tamil Nadu team had lost five wickets for 86 runs. Thanks to Arshi Chaudhary's 32 runs in 27 balls, S Anushah's 21 runs and captain SB Keertan's 27 runs in 15 balls, Tamil Nadu team scored 125 runs.
In bowling, Rubia Syed, Bisma Hasan, Ananya Sharma took one wicket each for Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir had a bad start in chasing the target. The first wicket fell in the form of Bawandeep Kaur on 15 runs. After this, there was a partnership of 70 runs in 58 balls for the third wicket between Rubia Syed and Chitra Jamwal.
Jammu and Kashmir's third blow in the score of 80 came in the form of Chitra Jamwal, she scored 16 runs. After this, Rubia Syed made a partnership of 32 runs with Jasia Akhtar and helped the team win by seven wickets. Rubia Syed played an unbeaten inning of 78 runs in 58 balls with the help of ten fours and two sixes.
With this victory, Jammu and Kashmir team got four points. In Group A, Jammu and Kashmir team is in sixth place with 12 points with three wins and four losses in seven matches.
