Due to this, Gary Kirsten may have resigned from the post of coach.
Dispute with PCB:
The biggest reason for Kirsten separating himself from the coaching post is his lack of coordination with the PCB. From selection to appointment, the board did not support South African players on many occasions. Kirsten asked for a high-performance coach, David Reid, but the PCB refused. Kirsten wanted to play an important role in the selection of the team, but PCB gave all the power to the selection committee, after which he became angry and came to know the real truth of the cricket environment of Pakistan.
Captaincy controversy:
Babar Azam being made the captain of Pakistan again and then resigning from the captaincy shows the uncertainty in Pakistan cricket. Kirsten was unable to resolve the crisis in a short time and probably did not even get a chance to assert her rights.
