IND vs NZ 2nd Pune Test: The second match of the three-match Test series between India and New Zealand is being played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association in Pune. Two days of the match have been completed and till now Team India appears to be in a very bad condition. Like the visiting New Zealand in Bengaluru, it seems to be moving towards victory in the Pune Test too.
Just as Team India was a victim of weak batting in the first Test of the series played in Bengaluru, similarly in the Pune Test too, Rohit Bigard seems to be trapped in the trap of poor batting. By the end of the second day, New Zealand had achieved a lead of 301 runs. New Zealand, batting in its second innings, has lost only 5 wickets so far.
Team India got frustrated with batting in the first innings
In the Test being played in Pune, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat. Batting first, New Zealand put 259 runs on the board. Then in reply, Team India, who came out to bat, was all out for just 156 runs in its first innings. During this period, a total of five batsmen of the team could not even cross double figures. Ravindra Jadeja played the biggest innings for the team and scored 38 runs with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes.
Team India will get a big target
The New Zealand team, which came to bat in the second innings, has scored 198/5 runs on the board by the end of the second day, with which the team has taken a lead of 301 runs. Now it will be interesting to see on what score Team India would be able to all out New Zealand and how many runs the team would target. Earlier, Team India also had to face defeat in the first Test of the series played in Bengaluru. Now if Team India loses the Pune Test also, then the series will be lost.
