Mumbai won the championship by defeating Karnataka, the winning team got five lakhs, the star player got a car.

uDaypur, 25 October 2024. The 11-day-long 4th National Disabled Cricket Championship, organized under the joint aegis of Narayana Seva Sansthan and Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI), concluded on Friday at BN College ground, in which Mumbai defeated Karnataka and captured the title.

In the final, Karnataka won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 175 runs for 6 wickets with the help of Narendra Mangore's brilliant 68 runs. Chasing the target, Mumbai won by 8 wickets by scoring 178 runs for 2 wickets in 18.1 overs with the contribution of 70 runs from Ravindra Sante and 57 runs from Prasad Chauhan.

The chief guest of the closing ceremony was Rajya Sabha member Chunnilal Garasia, while it was presided over by Khatu Shyam Mandir Management Committee Chairman and DCCI Patron Pratap Singh. Institute President Prashant Aggarwal appreciated the dedication of the disabled players.

Special guests included DCCI Rajasthan President Jyotsna Chaudhary, Dronacharya Awardee Mahavir Saini, and others. In the final match, Ravindra Sante of Mumbai received the Man of the Match award of Rs 11,000. The tournament's best bowler Satish Kirad of Rajasthan, best fielder Kunal Fanse, and best batsman Shivashankara were given a prize of Rs 25,000. Player of the series Akash Patil of Mumbai was handed over the scooty, and star player Surendra Khorwal of Rajasthan was handed over the keys of the car. Hosts Rajasthan and Maharashtra received a prize of Rs 1 lakh each. Winner Mumbai was awarded Rs 5 lakh, and runner-up Karnataka was awarded Rs 2.50 lakh.
