New Delhi: India seemed to be getting another brilliant batsman from Mumbai in the form of Prithvi Shaw, the captain of the Under-19 world-winning team, but in the last 3 years, the career of this promising batsman has been badly affected. Sometimes he came into news because of his altercation with someone on the streets of Mumbai and sometimes because of his personal life. Now Mumbai Cricket Association has suddenly dropped him from the Ranji Trophy team. The news coming out of Mumbai Cricket Board is not a good sign for Prithvi Shaw's career. The board said that he is not only overweight but also undisciplined. Meanwhile, while posting on Instagram, Prithvi Shaw wrote – Need A Break Thx. On the other hand, MCA issued a statement saying that the senior selection committee comprising of Sanjay Patil, Ravi Thacker, Jitendra Thackeray, Kiran Powar and Vikrant Yeligetti has selected the team. However, the statement did not give any explanation for Shaw's non-inclusion in the team.
