A new chapter has been added in the history of Bangladesh cricket team. Bangladesh team has got the first batsman who has achieved a special position in Test cricket. This batsman is none other than the team's experienced wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim, who has created a new record after completing 6 thousand runs in Test cricket.
The first Test match is being played between Bangladesh and New Zealand at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. On the very first day of the match, the entire Bangladesh team collapsed for just 106 runs in the first innings. After this, South Africa scored 308 runs in its first innings on the second day. Bangladesh made a better comeback in the second innings and by the end of the day's play, the team had scored 101 runs on the scoreboard after losing 3 wickets. Mahmudul Hasan Joy returned unbeaten after scoring 38 runs and Mushfiqur Rahim returned unbeaten after scoring 31 runs.
