Earlier in Al Emirates, UAE captain Basil Hameed won the toss and decided to bat first. They had a bad start and Anshul Kamboj dismissed Mayank Kumar in the very first over. In the second over, Vaibhav Arora dismissed Aryansh Sharma for just 1 run. Rahul Chopra handled one end but he did not get anyone's support from the other end and the entire team collapsed for 107 runs. Captain Baseen Hameed scored 22 runs. Apart from this, no batsman could even cross the double figures. Rasikh Dar Salaam took 3 wickets for 15 runs in 2 overs while Ranamdeep Singh also took 2 wickets.
Abhishek Sharma also took wickets
Anshul Kamboj, Vaibhav Arora, Abhishek Sharma and Nehal Vadhera got one success each. Chasing the target of 108 runs, the Indian team did not have a good start and Prabhsimran Singh was bowled after hitting a six. After that, Abhishek Sharma along with Tilak Verma created havoc and quickly completed his half-century. However, just before his half-century, captain Tilak was out after scoring 21 runs. After fifty, Abhishek also left. After this, Ayush Badoni and Nehal Badhera did not allow any further setback and gave India its second consecutive win. Team India has now come to the first position in the points table.
