The first test match is being organized between India and New Zealand in Bengaluru. The Indian team seems to be in trouble in this match. After the first day's play was canceled due to rain, Team India collapsed for just 46 runs while batting first on the second day. With this, the Indian team got the shameful record of being all out on the lowest score in Tests on home soil. However, Team India made a strong comeback in the second innings in response to New Zealand's score of 402 runs in the first innings. With the help of Sarfaraz Khan's 150 runs and Rishabh Pant's 99 runs, Team India was reduced to 462 runs in its second innings. Earlier on the third day, Rohit Sharma scored 52 runs and Virat Kohli scored 70 runs.

The Indian team got a great start on the fourth day. Pant and Sarfaraz made a partnership of 177 runs for the fourth wicket. However, after the dismissal of these two, the entire team collapsed. New Zealand took the new ball after the 80th over of the Indian innings, after which the team dismissed seven batsmen in 15.2 overs. India lost its last 6 wickets in 29 runs. In this way, India scored 462 runs and gave New Zealand a target of 107 runs to win.

100 year old record broken

On the fourth day, the Indian team created a new history in Test cricket by scoring 462 runs. Actually, the Indian team could not even score 50 runs in the first innings but in the second innings it scored more than 450 runs. In this way, Team India became the team to score the highest score in the second innings after being all out on a score of less than 50 in the first innings in the history of Test cricket. The Indian team broke South Africa's 100-year-old world record. After being all out for 30 runs in the first innings of the Test match against England in 1924, South Africa scored 390 runs in the second innings. Now India has left behind this record of South Africa.
