1. 286 runs on one ball
During a match played between Victoria and 'Scratch XI' in Western Australia on 15 January 1894, something happened which no one could even imagine. In this match, Victoria's batsmen together scored 286 runs on one ball. In fact, on the very first ball of this match, the batsman hit such a long shot that the ball got stuck on a tree, by then the batsman had scored 286 runs.
2. 10 wickets in a test innings
England's legendary bowler Jim Laker, India's great spinner Anil Kumble and New Zealand's dashing spinner Ajaz Patel have taken 10 wickets in a Test innings. The record of taking 10 wickets in a single innings of Test cricket can only be equalled, it can never be broken.
3. Double century in all four innings of test cricket
Sunil Gavaskar is the only batsman in the world who has scored double centuries in all four innings of Test cricket. Sunil Gavaskar holds the record of scoring 205 runs in the first innings of Test cricket, 236 unbeaten runs in the second innings, 220 runs in the third innings and 221 runs in the fourth innings. This record of scoring double century in all four innings of Test cricket is almost impossible for any batsman to break. Even after 41 years, no batsman in the world has been able to break this record of Sunil Gavaskar. Sunil Gavaskar had done this wonders from 1971 to 1983. Sunil Gavaskar had scored double centuries in the first, second and third innings against West Indies. At the same time, he scored a double century in the fourth innings against England.
