Bettiah, 18 October. In the second match of West Champaran District Senior Division Cricket League, Abhimanyu Cricket Club defeated Arun Cricket Club, Bagaha by nine wickets.
Arun Cricket Club Bagaha captain Vinay Sahni won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the entire team of Arun Cricket Club was all out for 82 runs. Vinay Sahni of Arun Cricket Club scored 27 runs in 40 balls and Aman scored 26 runs in 19 balls.
Aurangzeb of Abhimanyu Cricket Club took 5 overs of 14 runs and 3 wickets and Yogeshwar took 5 overs of 16 runs and 3 wickets.
Chasing the target, Abhimanyu Cricket Club won by scoring 86 runs in 10.3 overs and losing 1 wicket.
Abhimanyu CC's opener made a decent start, Siblu remained not out after scoring 40 runs in 30 balls. Also Badal scored 27 runs in 29 balls. Both the openers made the victory easy by making a partnership of 80 runs.
Man of the match was Mohammad Aurangzeb. A total of 16 teams are participating in the Senior Division Cricket League. There will be a match between Modern Cricket Club and Arjuna Cricket Club on Saturday.
