Bettiah, 17 October. West Champaran District Cricket League started in which Service Cricket Club defeated Mahatma Gandhi Cricket Club by nine wickets.
In the match played at the local Bada Ramana ground, Mahatma Gandhi Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat first and got all out for 93 runs. Prince Singh scored 24 runs in 53 balls. Aman Ehteram of Service Cricket Club took 4 wickets for 19 runs in 8 overs and Aatish took 2 wickets for 12 runs in 4.1 overs.
Chasing the target, Services Cricket Club won by scoring 94 runs in 3.5 overs and losing 1 wicket. Vicky Pandey scored 58 runs in 45 balls and Atish Kumar scored 19 runs in 37 balls.
Man of the match was Aman Ehteram (8 overs, 19 runs, 4 wickets). Chandra Prakash and Pawan played the role of umpires. On the occasion of the inauguration, Association President Ravi Ranjan Yadav, Vice President Vishwajit Kumar, Secretary Rajkumar, Joint Secretary Ashish Kumar, Treasurer Manoj Kumar were present.
