At the same time, it has been told from Pakistan side that during the dinner organized by Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday evening, there was a brief conversation between Jaishankar and Dar for 5 to 7 minutes. Pakistan's Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi has also participated in this informal conversation.

On condition of anonymity, a source said that Pakistan has discussed the resumption of cricket between the two countries. Naqvi was quoted as saying that even though both the countries did not make any proposal for any formal bilateral meeting, the visit of the Indian Foreign Minister was going to break the ice in their relations.

Let us tell you that one of the objectives of this conversation is that Pakistan is going to organize the ICC Champions Trophy in February next year. He wants the Indian team to come to Pakistan and play in this tournament. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already made it clear that it will not tour Pakistan unless the Indian Government gives it permission to play in Pakistan.
