Third day of Shri Guru Ram Rai University's annual sports competition Khel Utsav.

The third day of Shri Guru Ram Rai University's annual sports competition Khelotsav was dedicated to cricket, volleyball, basketball, table tennis and badminton competitions. In cricket, School of Humanities defeated the team of School of Engineering and Technology and entered the final. Harsh and Purnima won the title in badminton.

The competitions were inaugurated on Wednesday by Registrar Research and Development Dr. Pankaj Mishra did it. In cricket, School of Humanities and Social Sciences won the toss and batted first and scored 102 runs at the loss of three wickets in 10 overs. Gaurav Kumar played an inning of 27 runs in 13 balls with the help of 2 sixes. Ayush scored 20 runs in 7 balls. Chasing the target, the School of Engineering and Technology team could score only 58 runs at the loss of seven wickets. Nitin took three wickets.

In the first semi-final of volleyball boys category, the Humanities team defeated Basic and Applied Sciences 21-11, 21-13. In the second semi-final, School of Paramedical defeated School of Management 21-15, 21-14. In badminton singles boys category, Harsh of School of Basic and Applied Science won the title by defeating Hrithik of School of Management 2-1. On this occasion Dr. Puneet Ohri, Dr. Deepak Som, Dr. Pankaj Chamoli, Dr. Meenu Chaudhary etc. were present.
