For the first time, a three-day national cricket competition was organized at the cricket ground located at Kaparpura in Kanti block of Muzaffarpur district. Louis Braille Inter State Test Series Season 2 organized at Cricket Association for Blind in Bihar under the aegis of Bihar
Cricket teams from three states Bihar, Manipur and Bengal participated in the national cricket competition. Today's final match was played between Bihar and West Bengal. In this 20-20 cricket series, Bihar team had set a target of 170 runs at the loss of eight wickets.
The winning and runner up teams received honours.
In the 20-20 cricket series, Bengal team won by 4 wickets by winning three balls before the last over. The chief guest of the program, Block Development Officer of Kanti Block, Dr. Anand Kumar Vibhuti and President Dr. Sangeeta Aggarwal honored the winning and runner-up players.
Giving information on this occasion, Chief Guest Dr. Anand Kumar Vibhuti said that organizing this type of blind cricket competition will generate a lot of confidence in the players. Everyone needs to come forward and help at administrative and social level
The team will perform for Nagesh Trophy
Dr. Sangeeta Agarwal, President of Cricket Association for Blind in Bihar, said that the national cricket competition for blind boys has been organized for the first time in Bihar. In which teams from Bihar, Bengal and Manipur participated. The winning Bengal team was given a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 11,000, and the runner-up team was given a cash prize of Rs 7,000. Now the team will perform further for Nagesh Trophy
