Patna: Deaf and mute for the first time in the capital Patna cricket national championship The event is taking place. The eighth Men's T-20 National Championship is being organized by the Indian Deaf Cricket Association at the Urja Stadium in Patna. Teams from 19 states are participating in this tournament.

Organized for the first time in Bihar: Deaf and Dumb T-20 cricket tournament is being played for the first time in Patna. Santosh Kumar, Director of the Indian Deaf Cricket Association and posted as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, said that there is no dearth of talent in deaf players and if they are given a platform, they will do very well.

Final will be held on 19th October: Santosh Kumar told that the final match of this tournament is to be held on October 19. A total of 45 matches will be played in the tournament and two matches are being organized daily in four stadiums of Patna. Ministers of Bihar are participating in the program from inauguration to closing, which is increasing the morale of the players.

Indian team won 5-2 in England: He said that in the month of June this year, the England team was invited by the Deaf and Dumb Cricket Association to play a cricket match. There the Indian team won the tournament by defeating England 5-2 in the same match. If players perform well then BCCI will also notice it. His endeavor is that deaf and dumb cricketers should also go and play matches in main stream cricket.

Bihar Government has assured that like other sports are being promoted in Bihar, Deaf Cricket will be promoted in the same way and its international competitions will also be held in the coming times. Teams happy with the atmosphere of the event: Santosh Kumar said that the purpose of organizing this tournament in Bihar was that no national level tournament for deaf and dumb cricketers had been organized in Bihar before. In the last few years, there has been a lot of infrastructure development in the field of sports in Bihar. Big stadiums have been built in places like Patna and Rajgir. The rest of the sports association's team has come to Bihar and everyone has appreciated the hospitality here.
