Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been appointed as DSP by the Telangana government. On Friday, Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) handed over the appointment letter to him.

Earlier, boxer Nikhat Zareen was also appointed DSP. Nikhat is a two-time world champion.
