Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been appointed as DSP by the Telangana government. On Friday, Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) handed over the appointment letter to him.

Earlier, boxer Nikhat Zareen was also appointed DSP. Nikhat is a two-time world champion.

Telangana government had announced to appoint DSP After India won the T20 World Cup this year, Telangana CM A Rivanth Reddy had ordered officials to give Siraj a government job and allot a plot.
