Highest Team Score in T20I India: India has scored 297 runs in the third T20 match of the series against Bangladesh. This is the second highest score in the history of T20 cricket. From Sanju Samson completing his century in 40 balls to the total of 22 sixes hit in the innings, Team India set many big records in this match. Apart from this, India has improved its highest powerplay score and has also made the record of scoring the fastest 100 runs.
Fastest 100 runs in T20 – India had crossed the 100-run mark against Bangladesh in just 7.1 overs. India has improved its record because earlier in 2019, Team India had set the record of scoring 100 runs in 8 overs.
Highest score in first 10 overs – India has come second in terms of scoring the most in the first 10 overs of a T20 match. Team India scored 152 runs at the loss of 1 wicket in 10 overs against Bangladesh. Now only Australia is ahead of India in this list, which has scored 156 runs in 10 overs against Scotland.
Fastest 200 runs – Team India has also come second in terms of scoring the fastest 200 runs in T20 cricket. India achieved this figure in 84 balls i.e. 14 overs, but South Africa had touched the figure of 200 runs in 13.5 overs against West Indies last year.
Bettered my record in Powerplay – India has improved its powerplay score in T20 cricket. Team India scored 82 runs against Bangladesh at the loss of one wicket in 6 overs. Earlier, against Scotland also, India had scored 82 runs at the loss of 2 wickets in 6 overs.
